Teesworks 3-Year Reactive Framework

Their Challenge:

To respond and adapt to changes or unforeseen circumstances during the construction process of the Teesworks site, quickly addressing and resolving issues as they arise to minimize disruptions and keep the sites numerous projects on track.

Our Solution:

Due to the fluctuating nature of the contract a dedicated Construction Manager with extensive expertise and experience in reactive frameworks was appointed to the site. Additionally, offices have been established on-site, with a permanent Site Manager appointed to oversee and coordinate the various projects as they emerge. We have also formed a dedicated on-site team, who oversee regular upkeep and maintenance tasks such as dust suppression to mitigate environmental impacts. Clear communication channels have been established with multiple authorities and companies on the site to ensure effective coordination and collaboration, enabling swift resolution of any challenges that may emerge. By implementing this solution, we aim to keep the projects on track, minimize disruptions, and ensure the successful completion of the Teesworks site.

Scope of Works:

Included in the reactive framework is.
  • Maintenance to existing infrastructure
  • Upkeep of the existing facilities
  • Repairs to substations and metal clad buildings
  • Replacement of roof and wall sheeting
  • Repairs to existing roads and Armco barriers
  • Repairs to external perimeter fencing

The Results:

With the framework only in its infancy, works are starting to come with initial reactive jobs including the installation of concrete bases, construction of pathways, perimeter repairs and removal of contaminated water.
