This site comprises 36 homes and the Applebridge’s expert team was heavily involved to ensure the development’s scope was achievable.

Their challenge:

Due to past usage and possible contamination, this site presented numerous complexities. Looking for a specialist who could handle all elements of the preparatory work and build, Applebridge was appointed to handle the project.

Our solution:

All existing ground had to be reduced to specific level equating to 3000m3 and removed offsite. Fresh clay was then imported to build off. Two different attenuation storage systems were designed on this scheme involving plastic crates and precast concrete. Scope of works included:

• Construction of 36 homes
• Construct full infrastructure works, i.e. drainage, attenuation system, road and infrastructure
• Retaining walls
• All earthworks and remediation

The results:

This £1.65m project commenced in July 2018 and is ongoing.
