A wide range of Applebridge’s services and expertise were utilised, including the construction of 39 homes, all earthworks, roads and infrastructure.

Their challenge:

The site levels worked with the existing stockpiles of clay and topsoil therefore an extensive stabilisation operation took place to make sure all the material was suitable for re-use in lieu of this being removed, and other material being imported.

Our solution:

Applebridge were principal contractor for a period of 31 weeks whilst completing earthworks, grouting up to 30m to the full due to past mining operations and all infrastructure works. Scope of works included:

• Construction of 39 homes
• Construct full infrastructure works, i.e. drainage, attenuation system, roads and infrastructure
• All earthworks and remediation
• Stabilisation
• Piling
• Grouting
• Retaining walls

The results:

This £3.23m project started in August 2019 and is ongoing.
